Ștefania Măciuceanu

Ștefania Mǎciuceanu is a senior lawyer with over 17 years of professional experience acquired in top Romanian law firms and a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2007. She is a passionate and talented litigator with extensive experience in litigation, who has successfully represented parties, both in the Romanian judicial system and in arbitration proceedings, as well as before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).

Ștefania has represented clients in civil and commercial disputes, including providing strategic consultancy to avoid disputes in: real estate disputes, including claims for the recovery of nationalized and expropriated properties, restoration of property rights, nullity of documents, actions to recover possession, land deed actions, canceling some illegal administrative acts, granting compensations, including drafting complaints before the ECHR, where she obtained compensations for one of her clients in the amount of 750,000 euros. She coordinated a team of 9 lawyers in a project of 600 litigations, having as object the cancellation of property titles issued on the basis of Law 1/2000. At the same time, she provided legal assistance and representation in public procurement legal procedures, contestations and appeals, as well as regarding the conclusion and execution of contracts, including contractual liability for non-execution or delayed execution of obligations.

She provided legal assistance and representation to the most important banks in Romania, both before the courts, in disputes that had as their object actions regarding credit contracts and guarantees and real estate disputes, civil and commercial disputes, debt recovery, enforced executions and insolvency proceedings, as well as legal consulting services for banks, respectively: drafting and reviewing standard documentation for financial products and services, drafting legal opinions regarding real estate (land/buildings) that would be the subject of mortgage contracts, participating in negotiations with the clients of the banks, legal consultancy in the field of consumer protection and in the field of labor law.

Ștefania manages projects covering all stages of an employment relationship, from its beginning to its end. She has extensive experience in solving day-to-day problems, as well as in complex issues and labor disputes. She also offers assistance to both employees and employers, offering them the best solutions to their problems, so that they are protected from possible risks that may arise.
